I’m not sure this will help, but it seemed like it may be another way to accomplish what you want using the “followed” as a way to insert a timer.

I found it under “5 Ways to restrict the execution of apiston” in the example piston section.

FWIW. I have not been able to code the piston to NOT send the SMS.

  1. I have followed many options in the ‘5 Ways to restrict…’ thread as well.
  2. The piston fires MOST of the time, not always.
  3. I have narrowed it down to one sensor (I think- not a lot of sensors open in the winter, front door/back door…its front door that I think is faulty).

I am going to replace the sensor this weekend, see what happens.

FYI, this is the piston with the false SMS. Note, don’t even bother digging in until I can replace the sensor - which probably means this weekend…but you asked to be bumped here!
