AC not responding after webcore Automation

#1

Hi i am Newbie to the whole smartthings, webcore, coding. I was able to install webcore and inegrate it into smartthings and all that and even go my ac to turn off when my door sensor was open for 90 seconds, so i was very happy.

The problem is after fooling around with the pistons to try to get the ac to not turn on if the door sensor wasnt closed, i have somehow prevented my AC from turning off any at all, whether by original remote or smart device its just not responding. And in an effort to try to reverse it, i deleted all pistons and uninstalled webcore in an effort to reset everything to original, however the ac still doesnt respond.

As a result i have no code to show what i did and i have no idea how to proceed to get back control of my AC.

Can anyone help me?

What brand is the AC? Or are you using a smart thermostat?

#3

Its a split unit, brand is prizm

#4

Any control directly on the unit?

#5

No

I would suggest contacting prism support to see how you can gain control of the unit. There must be a way to sync your remote to it so you can control it.

Ok i tried a hail Mary and it seems to have worked. I created a piston to refresh the AC when the sensor closed, and it seems it worked, the remote is working again.

Thanks alot jkp for helping me troubleshoot, i really appreciate it. Hopefully my experience will help others.

You figured it out. I did not do anything to help. I thought you had removed webcore

I did remove it, but i reinstalled to see if there was a way to undo it and i saw the refresh action and gave it a try
