Adjusting Lights in the house based on outside

#1

I’m attempting to find a better method to compare the outside lux (light) levels so that I can adjust the lights within the house by comparison. I’d like it to be that if its dark outside, the lights are maxed out but if its bright outside the lights turn off with varying levels in between.

I’ve been using the Weather Station Smart App and it works great, but doesnt update as fast as I would like. It gets a little hodge-podgey and doesnt exactly catch as I need.

I’m looking for some guidance for checking outside light without a detector outdoor light detector.

If you are using the Weather Tile app, you can set up a piston that refreshes it every X (5 mins maybe? or so during the day.

See I thought the same. I’m using the Smart Weather Station tile 2.0 and have a refresh for every minute:

and here is my lux linking

What I’m running into when checking the app it barely changes in lux values.

This is my lux info with no refresh… I do see some gaps.

Hmmm, mine seems to be doing better. Maybe its my values that it translate to…
