I have seen articles on the internet where it appears that it is possible to somehow use webcore as a replacement dashboard in SmartThings. With all of the recent issues with SmartThings I am interested and seeing how that works and if it is done by opening SmartThings or somehow stand-alone outside of SmartThings. If anyone has any tutorials or advice on using webcore as an alternative dashboard, please let me know.

the dashboard (beta) in webcore was never competed so it does not work. while you can create tiles to control devices, i would not recommend it.
your best bet is to use sharptools.io or actiontiles.com
