#1

I have all of the SmartThings on my Alexia and can use voice to control lights, etc. How can I get the Amazon Echo to appear on SmartThings/WebCoRE so that I can send messages to it?v

Have you had a look at the Echo Speaks thread in the SmartThings forum?

#3

Thanks I will look now

#4

I had a look, installed the Echo Speaks Driver

The did the steps leading to where Echo Speaks should appear in the Smart APP but it was not there.

Do you have a sense of why this does not show up as a choice?

Thanks,
Ray

Using the classsic app?

#6

Probably. How do I tell?
Do I need the latest? My guess is yes

I haven’t done the ES install in a while, you might get more help from the thread I linked above.

Tying up loss ends.
Thanks for your help. I got it done!
The installation method that I used initially was the Manual Install. After doing it, it showed the driver installed by could not see the Echo Speaks Smart App choice on The Classic SmartThings APP.

However, I went back and did the Community Installer which, after its steps were completed, it pointed me to the Manual Install (already completed).

When I checked the Classic ST APP I found the choice for Echo Speaks and all seems to be in place.

Thanks again.

Cheers, Ray
