1) Give a description of the problem
Light on a dimmer switch gets manually turned on but with little ones, the level is often at 0%
2) What is the expected behavior?
If possible, have Echo announce level when manually turned on
3) What is happening/not happening?
Users forget that the light is on a dimmer and think something is broken
Is something like this possible?

Sounds possible detecting the switch status and level but not the announcement via Echo as far as I know. If you have some other media player, then that might work.
Yeah, I’m very specifically aware that there’s no way to (currently) get the Echo to say what you want when you want it to say things. Amazon does not really allow you to do anything like that (again…currently…there’s always rumors of something coming soon, but nothing exists now…short of becoming an Amazon developer…and that has a bunch of hoops to it as well).
Anyway, as was stated, if you do have any other TTS speaker, you can get WC to do that for you.
