Any thermostat pistons examples

Hey, have been using webcore for a little while, so I get a few things, but still.
Im looking for a nice thermostat piston.
Anyone willing to share something with similar features as I need:

Pause or stop thermostat (in my case a Philips heat pump with sensibo), if a certain door is open.
Heat when outside temperature is low, and cooling if outside hot (maybe use Netatmo device?).
And maybe if there’s some real tech AI stuff which base temperatures based on outside temp and humidity.
I want to have 23 degrees in the winter with heat and 20 degrees in summer with cold.

I have had issues in the past where contacts sensors get stuck in an open state, if you have seen this in the past you may not want to pause if door is open and rather have a notification if the door is open for a longer period when the heat is on.

Maybe suggest how you would like to handle thermostat. Currently I have it change based on arrive or away as well as the different modes. For the door I have it based on the weather tile and contact sensor. Here is the door contact sensor that notifies me if the door has been open for more than 5 minutes and the air is higher/lower then outside temp.

Not sure this is ‘nice’ but will give you some starting points. I do watch for a door open and will stop the HVAC after a timeout and uses Echo Speaks to announce during daylight hours. I use Ecobee’s so your milage will vary with others.
