Does webCoRE see Arlo cameras as Motson sensors?

Yes, it can. They register individually. (Arlo Pro)

You can also turn them on and off individually, which is much more useful than messing with arming and disarming the base station.

How do you get the one camera to start recording without it seeing motion?

E.I. Door contact opens… record cam for 30 seconds.

Have a read through this regarding having WebCore start recording. The answer seems to be no (for both regular and Pro) as the recordClip(x) option is no longer there.

If it is a physical device or virtual device in your ST environment use a Custom SHM routine to trigger the recording when there is motion or a contact sensor opens, no webCoRE needed. Of course you can also use webCoRE to monitor that device and trigger other actions.
