Basic Virtual ST switch not showing as an action

#1

I have some “Smart Home” / “Tuya” outlets that I’ve connected to ST through IFTTT and a created virtual switch using the DH “Switch Capability”. It works fine through ST. However when adding as a switch to webcore, it does not appear able to be turned off/on.

When I try to add it as an action, in the drop down, it does not appear. When I look at it in the list on the right of the dashboard, it does not show a toggle off/on.

Try using the Virtual Switch DH.

I am not sure if there is a difference between the two, but I have 100% success rate using
Simulated Switches as opposed to Virtual Switches…
SimSwitches work perfectly in webCoRE, ST and IFTTT (as well as Alexa, Google Home and ActionTiles).

No Device Handler required

Forgot about those Simulated Switches. They run local too.
Type is what I meant by DH. Sort of the same thing isn’t it as this is where custom DH’s appear so that’s how I think of them.

Good point. I guess I was just trying to clarify that @Tasmin doesn’t have to install anything extra. (this is how I think of DHs, LOL)
