Button to pause a piston before it fires

I’m trying to create a button that can be put in my favorites in SmartThings. I have created a simulated switch in the IDE as a start. I have a piston that fires and opens a door if certain conditions are met 90 minutes after sunrise everyday. I’d like to be able to pause that piston from my ST home screen occasionally. Ideally, if virtual switch is on, piston is paused… If switch is off, piston resumes.

I’ve not been able to make the connection…

If you wanted to keep your “door open” piston from running until you turn your switch off then…

 Every day at 90 minutes after Sunrise
 If Door_Open_Switch is Off
      Then
        Do Stuff
      End If

This way will allow you to turn your switch on from your ST dashboard and leave it on, or off, as long as you like.

That was the bump I needed. I was able to add it to both my piston and ST home screen. Thank you.

Switch 15 is the virtual switch on ST favorite screen. Sometimes it is just too easy…:wink:
