Call Me if I Leave the Garage Door Open

Simple piston based on the simple idea that if I turn my bedroom light on after about 8PM at night…I’m probably going to bed…and the garage door shouldn’t be open.

Also requires a recipe in IFTTT, and uses a webhook to call that recipe to execute the phone call.

Is it possible to make the phone call with out using IFTTT? IFTTT was draining my phone battery and stopped use it.

If memory serves me right, IFTTT can still make calls to you with the app uninstalled on the device.
