Cannot register a browser

#1

After some struggling, I managed to properly install webCoRE (I think). And, I went through the process of creating a piston on the phone app, and deleting it.

I think it would be easier to work on creating a useful piston from a browser. I can generate a code from the “Register a browser” button on the ST app on my phone, but plugging that code into dashboard.webcore.co yields only spinning tiles in the bottom right corner.

I’m obviously missing something. (and, am obviously a newbie).
Thanks for any suggestions!

Login to IDE @ https://account.smartthings.com and see if the 4 WebCORE components are showing under my SmartApps.

Thanks much for the quick response!
Yes: all 4 are there.

AND: I posted my question from my work desktop. I’m now home, and the “Register a browser” worked without a hiccup.

Might there be some kind of problem with the firewall/security at my work desktop?

I am having a similar problem. I don’t see the register browser button on my smartthings app. I have one entry in my smartapps called ady624 : CoRE. What am I missing?

You would need to install the 4 apps for webcore. The register browser feature is only valid for the webcore app and not the CoRE app that you mentioned. You can find the installation guide for webcore on the wiki pages.

I grabbed the wrong webcore version from git. I got it figured out. Thanks.

Can you “Register a browser” without a phone? What if I am at the office and forgot my phone?
