Car heater timer piston

#1

1) Give a description of the problem
I want to at regular intervals during the morning check the temperature and if its “cold” enough, engage the heater

2) What is the expected behaviour?
To check at regular intervals if the temperature is below certain levels and then engage heater at certain times.

3) What is happening/not happening?
I cant get the time loop to start at 04:00, instead its based on when i start the piston

I´d like some suggestion on what to use

Every X minutes
will always start the timer at the moment the piston is saved (or resumed)

You can be strategic as to when you save it (to force a specific time)
or do away with the Every X minutes concept, if you do not like that.

can i use any other method to check at the intervalls 05:00, 05:30, 06:00 and 06:30 if the temperature it X? so i dont have to sync the time

You can do something like this:

Just be aware that every Tom, Diċk & Harry use hourly and half hourly alerts…
(IE: So you can expect more lag than usual with those numbers)

That is the irony… Your original trigger, “Every X mins” can actually be the most staggered of them all. I believe it is the only trigger timer that can execute at any second inside the minute.
(IE: 5:25:47am)

On the other hand, “IF Time happens daily” are all scheduled to execute at 00 seconds.
(IE: 5:25:00am)
