Decrease speed of "speak text"

I am using following piston with fabriq speakers.

Piston works great but I would like to improve it.
Questions:

  1. I would like to change the speed of speaker output. Currently I feel that it is talking rapidly. I tried introducing “space” between two sentences but it did not help. Is it possible to decrease the speed so that it is easier to hear?
  2. Is it possible to select the Voice (something similar to BigTalker app)?

looking for the same thing
Only way I have found to slow down the speech is put a … in between the words.
It’s not great but better and try to start the phrase with something to catch peoples attention like “excuse me …” then the announcement.
Would like to change the voice as well strange Core had the option but I am not seeing it in Webcore.

I tried putting space but doesn’t help much. So finally settled on " xyz message. I repeat xyz message".
Will try and see if “…” helps.
