Delay with piston when time based

1) Give a description of the problem
Trying to set my lights to set the color and come on based on time . My OSRAM GU10 bulbs are connected to HUE which is then connected to ST. If i have less logic in the piston the lights come on quickly however with this setup in the screenshot there is a delay.

The color part is to be defined still as im trying to work out the HSL for my hue “read” theme.

2) What is the expected behavior?
lights turn on when there is motion and then off after 5 minutes of no motion

3) What is happening/not happening?
seems to be a delay when the lights turn on 1-2 minutes

there must be some logic ive missed , anyone got an example of something similar , turning on lights and off based on time and motion?

Here’s a simple piston that controls my bathroom lights with a motion sensor. Maybe this will get you started in the right direction… You could easily add a “restriction” to this piston to only operate at certain times too.
