Detect Light Status

Trying to detect when one bulb goes off to turn off another one. But it doesn’t work.
Here is a simplifed piston of what I am trying to do.

Looks pretty straightforward, any logs?

I had that in a more complicated piston and it didn’t work. It was a separate IF statement from the others. I separated it out to show it here and didn’t try the separated one. It worked. So not sure why it isn’t working in the complicated one. Have to do a little more investigating. Just ran out of time.

Are the bulbs smart bulbs? If yes is the switch still on that controls them ?

The reason I ask, if the switch that controls them turns off, the bulb will not have power to report back, and thus be offline.
