I’ve been having a TON of issues with devices randomly going offline for anywhere between a few hours to a few days, then come back online. Currently I have about 12 out of 50 devices in this offline state. Never had any issues like this over the past year but this seemed to start out of no where about a week or so ago. I haven’t made any changes on my end. I tried relocating my hub but it made no difference. Any ideas?
Devices failing heath check / offline
I’m not sure when the hub firmware last changed, although I recall sometime in the least few weeks ST rolled out an update to everyone, I think…
I have tried it with both device health on and off. When I turn it off, that of course stops the red icons in the Things list. However those devices still seem to go offline and not are reachable. Eventually them come back and a few others go offline. Its like a rolling issue of sorts, it seems.
Anyone seeing odd behavior tonight, in terms of long delays in pistons executing? For instance I triggered a motion sensor (confirmed by seeing the little LED on the sensor blink) and the piston did not receive the event until 30 seconds later, when the motion sensor sent the Inactive event. Therefore the Active event was totally missed by webCoRE. Then immediately after I triggered the motion again and this time the event was processed. Same thing was happening earlier tonight too. ST Status shows no issues but … ?
Further, the piston is supposed to turn the lights out after 3 minutes of no activity. But that functionality isn’t working either. The lights are staying on. I tried pausing and restarting the piston but it hasn’t helped.
