Dimmer programmatic change not working

1) Give a description of the problem
I have a piston to turn off a light after motion has cleared. When the piston programmatically turns off the switch, another piston turns off the motion sensor as though the switch was physically turned off.

2) What is the expected behavior?
Do not turn off “follow me” mode when switch turned off programmatically.

3) What is happening/not happening?
Turning off “follow me” mode when switch turned off programmatically.

I apologize for the belated reply… I just now saw this post…
… perhaps someone will find my response helpful.

WebCoRE does have this capability, but unfortunately there are very few devices that differentiate between a programmatic interaction and a physical interaction. Unless you are sure your devices report that distinction, the general rule of thumb is to program for “Any interaction”
