Echo Speaks: How to make all Echos speak at the same time

1) Give a description of the problem
Using ‘Echo Speaks’ for several Echos results in each Echo device speaking one at a time, instead of all together.

2) What is the expected behaviour?
Echo devices should speak all at once, like they do for the Alexa App.

3) What is happening/not happening?
Example: Everyday at 6:00 PM, Echo Speak “Someone needs to feed the dogs. It’s six o’clock. Thank you.” But each Echo takes a turn saying this, instead of all at the same time.

Does anyone know how to make several Echos speak at the same time?

playAnnouncementAll() might be what you’re looking for

Thank you! I did eventually see the second option. I dont know why i didnt see the one with ‘All’ on the end.

Do we only need to select one device when using ‘All’? Because every Echo is repeating the message several times, and i think it repeats for each Echo device selected.

I figured it out with testing… You just need to choose one Echo, “playAnnouncementAll()”, and all will speak…once.
