I have a Schlage Smart Lock. I want it to control my Ecobee Home/Away mode
2) What is the expected behavior?
Schlage gets locked from Keypad: Ecobee gets set to Away
Schlage gets unlocked from Keypad: Ecobee gets set to Home
3) What is happening/not happening?
I am not sure which commands to use. I found an “away” command. But not “home” command. How can I make this work?
Depending on which device handler you’re using, try looking for something like this… I don’t have my ecobee automated with ST so I’m not positive this is what you need to move from Away mode.
Something to think about. If you lock your door at night, it will also change your status to away.
While that shouldn’t be the case as he is locking via keypad when leaving, the device handler for the schlage doesn’t delineate between deadbolt locking, ST app locking, and keypad locking via the logo unless you use a code to lock. Supposedly the rboy can delineate it, but I didn’t see anything in the schlage zwave parameters that would support it anyway.
