Is the device visible in SmartThings? If so, did you add it to the webcore app device settings within SmartThings?
Yes. Is visible.
When I’m trying to add it to webcore, it is not on the list of available devices.
I am sure you have tried this, but just confirming. Do you look under all of the “Capability group 1, Capability group 2, Capability group 3” to see if it shows up in any of those?
Unfortunately, is not listed there either.
I can see the energy meter on both New ST, Classic ST and on ESpeaks.
I’ve seen the DTH for a Smappee, albeit a few years old now so things may have moved on. It lacks a ‘Sensor’ capability so it wouldn’t appear when you click on ‘Which sensors’, but I would really have expected it to appear if you clicked ‘Capability Group 2’ and then ‘Which power meters’ (NOT ‘Which energy meters’).
Go into the SmartThings installation site and select the Smappee DTH and see what capabilities it has. You could add ‘capability “sensor”’ to make it show up but not clear what functionality you will get. You will have to do some testing to explore it’s actual capabilities.
I have installed smappee energy monitor from Classic ST app -> Marketplace -> Energy Monitors.
So I haven’t install any DHT in order to modify the code.
EDIT:
I found the DHT here:
I modify the code as suggested and add the Capability “Sensor” entry.
Now the device is available for selection under webCoRe app settings!!
Thanks so much for your help!!
