Garage Door Presence issue

1) Give a description of the problem
This Piston used to work fine until I updated Webcore and Migrated to the new app

2) What is the expected behaviour?
Garage Door opens upon arrival and if it’s 60 minutes past sunset a light will come on

3) What is happening/not happening?
The garage door is opening, however if me and the wife are together the door will start to open once it sees one of us, sometimes it will get half open and then stop as it now sees the other one arriving home. I have the If sensor is Closed as part of the piston and I know its reporting as OPEN I watched it one day and it was being reported as Open and it still attempted to open upon the second presence sensor arriving which in turn caused the door to stop opening. Again this worked great until recently.

Lastly the light is no longer turning on when returning home 60 mins past sunset.

I do have 2 separate arrival pistons one for me and a duplicate for the wife. I’m not sure if it would be easier to migrate into a single piston somehow? or leave as is?

5) Attach logs after turning logging level to Full
I do not have logs yet, I just turned it to Full. If needed i will post.

If you both arrive at the same time, it may be both pistons run the ‘if’ while the contact is still open. There is something of a race condition there.

I’ve never used garage door openers. I see you test on Contact 13 but open Contact 1. Does opening Contact 1 while it is already opening stop it?

Do you have valid times for Sunset? Legacy apps like webCoRE use the Weather Station app to get their timing and that was a child app of Hello Home, as were the routines. If migration results in Hello Home being deleted (I don’t know if it does) you might have lost Weather Station. The way to get around that is to run Smart Lighting and create an automation that uses Sunset or Sunrise. It will then run Weather Station as a child app. Mind you, you could be really hosed in a region without Smart Lighting.

Logs really would be useful.

I forgot to enable the dang logging. I went it to get the recent logs and nadda. I just enabled it and the next time we leave and come back (tomorrow AM i’ll have new logs to upload)

Contact 13 is the Door Open/Close Sensor and I do not know why the opener shows as a Contact but Contact 1 is the Opener relay.
