I’m obviously missing something. This worked in CoRe but will not work in WebCore.
Garage heater Piston
You haven’t said what is not working so it’s hard to advise.
The only part that strikes me as stopping it from working is this bit.
Surely once you have paused the piston then there is no way it can resume because it will stop.
When the garage switch is off nothing will happen as the piston is paused.
Perhaps put that part in another piston and then get it to resume the first piston.
I’ve never paused a piston so this is purely conjecture on my part.
Nothing works on it. This piston is called “Heat Garage”. The one it is pausing is called “Garage Heater”. They are 2 different pistons. I’m pausing one that keeps the garage at a low temp and increasing the set point for when I want it warmer to work in there.
Oops. My fault. Didn’t read the title of the piston. Just made the assumption it was referring to the one we were looking at.
Make sure you update webCoRE to the latest versions. All of my pistons stopped working this morning and found I had to update to the latest version.
I think the issue has returned. Ady is working on a permanent fix.
Watch this space for another webCoRE update.
Ok, I updated webCoRe and got most of this working. I can’t get the set heating point to work. I realize now after removing Core that I remember having a custom command because the device handler wouldn’t cooperate with the thermostat. Unfortunately I don’t remember what that was. Any way I can figure it out?.
so I believe I have everything working. I ended up trying a few different device handlers and found one that works but isn’t exactly what I was hoping I would have but either way it works.
