Help with testing a pistons hue transition between 2 hue values

#1

1) Give a description of the problem
test hue transition with philips hue or similar bulbs. the piston works as expected though it is not fully done done. if you have philips hue or other colors bulbs other than osram and would be willing to test this piston on a few of those bulbs … please give me a shout. the three colors user here are RGB so best if its at least 3 bulbs.

2) What is the expected behavior?
hue transition works nicely without white fades in between.

3) What is happening/not happening?
hue transitions correctly but with fade to white for a few seconds in the middle of the fade. i use osram bulbs not sure if this is happening because these bulbs dont support the full range of colors and something like the philips hue bulbs would work better. or its how the fade to task works. or just a function of the hue color wheel.

4) Post a Green Snapshot of the pistonimage

I have a handful of the bulbs and one of the strips. I will run them through this tomorrow

Ok so I snuck away and gave this a whirl. I added my lights and then set the frequency down to 30 as well as the timer. The fades seem like color changes more than anything but still looks nice.

thanks man. this gives me a good sense of what it looks like with philips hue. the colors are definitely richer though can still see the transition through whitish.

yeah, this one is meant to do color transitions only without any fades. the fades was the other example i posted today. sort of for use on outdoor or even indoor lights for different holidays. red, white and blue for july 4th, red, green and gold for christmas, etc.

probably need to change the piston name from fade to transition.

cheers.
