Home Status Control No Longer Working

#1

When using the old SmartThings app (which has now been changed to SmartThings Classic), the home status monitor could be updated via Webcore pistons. However, since migrating to the new SmartThings app, the home monitoring status can no longer be updated.

The home monitor status should be updated (i.e. change from Armed to Disarmed).

The home monitoring status changes in the variables list - however, the status remains the same. (I.e. in the variables list, the status is ARMED - however in the app, it’s still DISARMED.

Has anyone else experienced this? And is there a way to resolve it? I understand Samsung are eventually going to be transitioning everyone to the new SmartThings app - so will this problem remain with our pistons?

Thanks all!

webCoRE is only able to control SHM in the Classic app so it is recommended that you continue using the Classic app at this point. Also, SHM in the Classic app is completely separate from SHM in the ST (Samsung Connect) app. So anything you do in one is not reflected in the other.
