How do I change a bulbs color gradually?

1) Give a description of the problem
I have a very simple piston which changes the bulbs color from red to green after 1 minute.

2) What is the expected behavior?
What I ideally want to happen is for the bulbs color to change gradually to green over the course of 1 minute. Not wait 1 minute and then change.

3) Post a Green Snapshot of the pistonimage

The command you want is called “Fade”, or some devices work better with “Transition to color”.

One small warning though, once a fade begins, it is practically impossible to stop it until it has completed.
