How to save matching device to a variable

I’m creating a piston for our Smoke/CO detectors. I want to save to a variable which detector triggered the alarm.

I’ve done this before but for the life of me I can’t figure it out again.

All help will be greatly appreciated.

This is my main water valve shutoff piston and it should help with your piston. It saves the name of the ‘wet’ water sensor to an empty, pre-defined variable, WetWaterSensor" .
