Ignore new motion on physical switch off

1) Give a description of the problem
I have a piston to activate the kitchen light on motion during a timeframe and then turn off the light after motion is not detected. That portion is working. What I’d like to do is: if the light is physically turned off, ignore new motion and leave the light off for x time. That way if we physically turn the light off, it will give us time to get back into bed without the light turning back on. I’m not sure if this is possible?

2) What is the expected behavior?
Disregard new motion on physical switch off for x time.

3) What is happening/not happening?
Light is turning on immediately on motion even after light switch if physically turned off. I’ve tried a few different things, but am at a loss.
