Lights off after Time x for multiple devices

Looking to run before I can walk!!
I have a number of dimmers controlling lights and I want each one to switch off 1 hour after being switched on. Even in my webcore infancy I am confident I could create a piston that contains a condition for each device instance but I am wondering if there is a way to optimise this code through use of some form of device and timer array?
