Logging and Trace functionality

I’m just beginning to play with this data and find it tremendously helpful as I teach myself webcore. Is there some reason I shouldn’t leave these active all the time (full logging and trace). I’m asking because I assume there’s a valid reason for them to be defaulting to ‘off’ as they are. Thanks

Each piston has a memory allocation, I think the more verbose your logs, the more that adds to it?

Very true and when full the oldest logs are dropped.

Trace is perfectly fine to leave on all the time. Logging on the other hand doesn’t need to be on unless you are trying to debug something. Otherwise it is just unnecessary overhead.
