1) Give a description of the problem
I am looking for a piston to 1)Disarm my SHM when the Schlage Door lock is unlocked with a lockcode (but not when unlocked by the manual knob) and 2)send a notification of which lock code was used.
2) What is the expected behaviour?
I have seen a couple “near” solutions in this forum but not one that fully meets my needs.
For instance,
- Piston (qnb4) disarms the system and sends the message when the lockcode is entered. Unfortunately it also disarms when the manual knob is turned. This is a problem for me since I have a glass window nearby.
- Piston (rbnwn) seems to correctly send notification based on lock code and not manual knob. Unfortunately, it does not Disarm the SHM.
3) What is happening/not happening?
I hope someone knows of a piston out there that will work.
