I have been using this piston for about 6 mos. now without any problems. Wednesday night I paused it because my Christmas light display was activating the Skybell doorbell causing it to run. I then unpaused & now it says it is false & will not turn on lights. What has happened?

Motion Piston Problem
Looks like you’re using the test button instead of triggering the motion.
As motion is inactive, pressing test will only fire the else part of the piston. If your lights had been on they would have turned off after 4 minutes.
Ok here is what I did
I turned on both lights &then clicked the test button, after 4 min. lights went off. See log
time four: thirty four (4:34)
Then I went outside & activated the motion & lights did not come on. See log (4:38)
What is happening?
Mike
4:38 shows a time trigger (the end of the wait) not a motion trigger???
There’s nothing wrong with your piston, you motion sensor is either not sending motion events or your’e not triggering motion at all… does the ST show motion?
Just checked my ST account it is showing inactive since 11/29 which is about when I paused the piston.
This is a SkyBell door bell & door bell & motion are appearing in the app.
How do I reactivate it in ST?
Mike
you might be best asking that one in the ST forum… maybe a skybell specific thread.
I would guess the integration is broken and you may need to reconnect it
