2) What is the expected behavior?
I have a currently two separate pistons - Thanks to the help of the community (infofiend)
One handles motion on lights based on ST modes. Currently I have one piston per room. This piston sets elements such as turn on lights based on motion. Sets brightness etc etc. Works great!
The second piston is a button that controls toggles the light.
3) What is happening/not happening?
I want to see if its possible to add the button toggle into the piston. I also want it to be added to the mode based actions. The ability to add in an action where when the button is pressed the motion is paused for a time period, i.e 15mins. The example of this would be the evening a ST mode (Home - Evening). If the light is set to 50%, but the baby is awake and I want the lights off. I want to be able to press the button and the motion to stop. Not sure if I need to put the buttons at the start of the piston and set a delay based on the ST mode? Might be as simple as that…
Another thing I wasnt sure about. I can set the button to toggle on/off of the light. But what if I want to set the temperature of the light or brightness. Can this be done? Im using Xiaomi buttons FYI.
