Multiple webcore App instance

#1

Hi All,
I gues that I’m doing something wrong.
But when I use smartthings mobile app and go to Smartapps I Always need to register my webcore app all over.
After that I see multiple Webcore instance. Where one is the one I have my pistons on.

What are I’m doing wrong?

#2

Can you take some screen shots of what you are talking about please.

#3

When I go my apps I see this
And after walking through setup
I see

#4

Are you referring to the fact that it says ‘Tap here to install WebCoRE’

#5

Yes correct.

#6

It always says that, you only need to install it once.

#7

But that my problem. I need to it more then once and after I don’t it get one more webcore app instance.

#8

Im not sure I understand what you’re trying to do?

#9

Are you referring to the page where you can actually create pistons, or the settings of WebCoRE when you can decided what things it has access to?

#10

Hi my problem is that I need to do “Tap here to install WebCoRE” every time I go to My apps.
After that done that I one more webCore app in Smartapps.
As I you can see in picture bellow.

#11

What screen shows up when you click on webcore in this photo

#12

You get this screen on all, but only one of them I have any devices under Settings, Available devices,

#13

From a computer go to dashboard.webcore.co

It will ask for a code.

In the SmartThings app go to the webcore instance that has devices installed on it and click on register a browser. Take the code displayed and type that into the browser window. It will ask for a password. You set that up in the settings of webcore on the app.

Welcome to the wonderful world of webcore

#14

Thats not the problem, I can create piston and have active pistons. But I keep geting more and more webcore smartapps as I need to do the registation every time I go my apps. And after that I have one more webcore SmartApp as you can see in picture bellow.

#15

From IDE Installed SmartApps

#16

Delete all the extra webcore instances. Once you have it installed you do not need to go into the SmartThings app unless you are registering a browser.

It would appear you are going into the ST App and instead of going into SmartApps that are already installed you are going deeper and finding the install files and installing over and over

Hi,
I have still the same problem. After removing all old instances. Going back to My Smart apps I need to do start a new webcore configuriation/setup.
