Need help with why piston is not providing the correct response
I know the trigger has happened yet piston reports it has not
I trigger on an acceleration sensor status that has or has not changed status in the last 24 hours. It always reports the trigger didn’t happen.
I’ve tried changed, did not change, was active, not active, etc.
If I were trying to set something like this up I’d probably make it into an actual Timer. If I were to guess what’s falling apart here it would probably be the interaction with the “and” in between your two triggers. So I’d eliminate that.
Thanks for the tip. I couldn’t figure how to do it as you suggested, but it got me thinking differently. I changed up a few things and it’s working great.
can you use water pump’s stayed away from active for 24 hours
I am using “stayed away from” to turn off lights when multiple motion detectors have no activity for a period of time.
