Netgear Arlo Endpoint is blacklisted

#1

1) Give a description of the problem
When trying to send an http post request to arlo.netgear.com, the logs report that the Endpoint is blacklisted. I suspect SmartThings is blocking traffic to Netgear for some reason but perhaps there’s something else I’m doing wrong. With the impending shutdown of Stringify, I need to find another solution for arming and disarming my Arlo and Arlo Baby cameras.

2) What is the expected behaviour?
I should be receiving a JSON file back once the connection is established.

3) What is happening/not happening?
The http request is blocked

**4) Post a Green Snapshot of the piston!

5) Attach logs after turning logging level to Full
Error executing external web request: java.lang.SecurityException: Endpoint https://arlo.netgear.com/hmsweb/login/v2 is blacklisted.

The Arlo Pilot app was blocked on the ST platform. A developer has recently released Arlo Assist you may want to look into.

To read up on what happened with Arlo Pilot you can check out the following thread…

Thanks for the quick response. Bummer that this was the solution ST and Netgear came to.
