Piston acting funny

This piston has always worked ok until now. When switch B is turned on nothing happens. But when the alarm is disabled ( second part of piston) then the piston executes the stuff based on the switch being on. Why?

Try forcing Switch 8 to subscribe to events (currently no orange bolt next to it).
