… and to add to this i just noticed now that i am not sleepy. I no longer have my illuminance criteria with “EVENT” so getting the first version to work is def. more inline with what what I am ultimately looking for.

Cover the sensor with your hands

My buddy tested my original logic in his garage and the illuminance would trigger thus not shutting off the light.

He wrote this to get around it and I am going to be testing it tonight in my pantry,

This way it ignores the light sensor after the lights are on.
