1) Give a description of the problem
I’m looking to leverage google assistant to announce if doors were left opened. I’d like to do this in one piston but am unsure how to do so
4) Post a Green Snapshot of the piston

Are you asking about your piston or about how to get Google Home as a notification device? Cause this is the webCoRE forum, so I just wanted to check.
Okay…you can’t do that. You first have to set up your Google Home speakers to interface with ST. You can’t just do that through a piston.
Actually it’s possible. I’m running a raspberry pi running assistant relay. Utilizing post to broadcast commands. I’m just trying to figure out how to put it all in one piston.
I asked you how you were interfacing to your Google Home speakers. You said you wanted to do it all in this piston. Now you say you’re running assistant-relay. Uhm…THAT’S how you’re interfacing to your Google Home Speakers!!! All the info you need is on the assistant-relay github page.
There’s actually an example right along with assistant relay on the ST forum:
You’re missing what I’m asking. I want to be able to make multiple announcements in a single piston. Ideally I want to integrate the post commands into my door left opened reminders…
Then do it. I’m not understanding what you want. Did you look at the examples on the assistant relay page? It’s right there. I’m sorry, what is unclear?
nevermind i read deeper and you’re right I think there’s something that should work.
thanks and sorry
