Piston using WebCore Presence and Speed

#1

simply put I want to fire a piston only if my speed was above a certain speed within the past X minutes.

Ultimately it will be pistons based on arrival via car, vs on foot.

When I selected Speed greater than 10, the only options were for at least XX seconds or less than XX seconds, I wanted within the last XX seconds,

I don’t have a webcore presence sensor, so I’ll substitute a light level in this example… but I think this is the best way to get what you’re after would be something along these lines:

I was unable to select the “for at least” with speed

Also how to you add followed within 2 minutes. I can use your backup code, but would like to know for future pistons

Thanks for the help

Glad to help!

Click on AND or OR within your conditions, and from the drop down menu to select and/or there is a “followed by” option.

To change the duration, click on the 2nd condition in the statement and edit the time there.

If unclear let me know and I’ll post screenshots in a bit.

I just got my webcore presence sensors working again so I’ll look at speed evaluation options too.

Try copying these parameters?

#6

Is there an advanced option I am missing somewhere. the For… is missing for me. It does not seem to matter if I select Speed, or tried even another device

#7

Can you post a screenshot of what you see when you select “was great than”?

#8

Ha Ha, I dont know what to say. Went to grab screen shot and viola, the For… Was there. Thanks. I’ll test this out tomorrow.

#9

Been there! Lol

From my testing I found one fault… I’ll post an update shortly.

Try this one? You may get mixed results since speed isn’t always accurate. According to mine, I’m travelling at 30f/s as I type this sitting at my office desk.

Cool, looking forward to trying this out. Thanks!!
