Pistons created today not working

1) Give a description of the problem
Pistons created today are not working. They have no “Trace” toggle. All previous pistons work fine and display a “Trace” toggle.

I imported your code and the piston worked for me. Can you attach logs?

No. Without the “Trace” toggle, which isn’t present in any piston created today, I can’t generate a log.

Enable your logs and turn on your switch in the SmartThings app and you will generate logs.

I wish it where that simple. Something has gone really wonky. I have log set to full. I can press test. Turn the switch on and off and on and off and no log is generated. Is there a reason why I don’t see a “Trace” toggle?

I’ve created quite a number of pistons without difficulty.

I opened an old piston that’s been working for months. Paused it. Resumed. Trace toggle disappeared when it resumed. Now it’s not working either. Sigh. Time to quit for today. Thanks.

The clue lies in pausing and resuming an old piston. One needs to be careful when switching between ST classic and the new app, especially when it comes to disabling pistons. Enabling in one doesn’t necessarily enable in the other. Pistons were enabled in ST classic but not in the new app. Interesting glitch that cost me a few hours. Becareful disabling all pistons in ST classic.
