Places and radius

Hi everyone.

I’ve got a couple of questions I hope you can help with.

  1. When you go into settings and set your home and any other locations you have 2 radius’s to set, leaving and coming home. The leaving has to be 200m more than arriving. Is there a way to reduce this set amount?

  2. When creating a piston based on locations when you use ‘distance’ it always assumes this is home. Is there any way you can use ‘distance’ for a different location.

For example. I have my heating turn on if distance is less than or equal to 3 miles. As this assumes I am talking about home. I would also like to have turn heating off if distance is less than x to x place (as home and another location are close).

Welcome to the addiction that is webCoRE!

  1. The delta between your arrival and departure circles can be reduced, but I can’t recall the shortest distance allowed between them. To get them as small as possible, log into webCoRE on a computer, then go to your Places - and reduce the outer circle to the same size as the inner circle. It’ll do one of two things then - either bounce back to the minimal size difference between the two, or look like it’s letting you set the two circles a similar size. If it does the latter, the outer circle will adjust to the minimum allowed difference when you save it and exit the screen.

  2. You can get what you want by using “distance to closest place” combined with an AND “closest place is xxx”.

Thanks for your help. It looks like 200m is the minimum, which is quite a lot, but never mind.

As for number 2 I’ll give that a go.
