Precense detection intermittently working

1) Give a description of the problem
Intermittent working

2) What is the expected behaviour?
To give an push message when my daughters arrives either Home,Skola (School)or Mamma (mum)

3) What is happening/not happening?
gives intermittent push notifications , more often no notifications at all

and it seems that my daugters ihones are not updating their location. It can says “currently at home” even if they left several hours ago. They do have a screen time limitation and maybe they need to use their phones in order to give the correct location?

Precense sensors are extremely unreliable (at least in my experience)
And try your piston without ELSE statements…
One workaround can be using execute piston URL… Not ideal but it would work. They need to click on a link manually when they arrive a location. If you are intersted a manual solution - again I admit not ideal - I can help yoou with that.

If the phones are not reporting the correct location, then SmartThings & webCoRE will be unaware of the real location. (in other words, there is nothing webCoRE can do to make your phone update better)

I found a while ago that my daughter’s and wife’s phones were not reporting accurately. When I called up the IDE, I noticed duplicate entries for each of them. After deleting one of each, reporting returned to normal.
Just yesterday I noticed my location was off. I called up the IDE again and that alone was enough to re-sync it.
As usual, your results may vary.

I use Life360 for presence, its not without its occasional issues but seems to work more reliably than ST. Plus you can do this with out the code using Life360.
