Problem with Light Turning Off Piston

#1

Not sure if this is the right place to post this or not.

I have a smart bulb. I use a piston that turns it on in the morning at 5:45. Then when I get up and run my wakeup routine it turns it off. This has worked flawlessly for several months.

I recently added another routine that turns the bulb on in the evening and then it turns off when I run my bedtime routine. This is working great.

Problem: When I run the wakeup routine it no longer turns the bulb off. I look at the recent history of the bulb and it says it got the turn off command, but it doesn’t go off. I can press the button and it goes off just fine. It only messes up on that one particular instance. And it has done this now for several days in a row. And it only started happening when I added the evening routine. I looked for any sign that something was turning it back on, but nothing there.

Any thoughts on where to look?

This one is the wakeup routine: This is the one that doesn’t seem to turn off the dimmer3.

Try disabling command optimization for wakeup routine.

I am gone for the holidays but will try that when I get back. Still puzzles me that it has always worked fine before.
