Did anyone experience problems with time-based pistons doing funny things because of the daylight savings change? I had all sorts of problems with pistons going crazy, as in firing multiple times or not firing at all. Also the times in the log area of pistons were wrong. But the system seems to have settled down now.
Problem with Time Change Again?
I woke up last night to my phone going utterly beserk with notifications. When I say that I mean so many arriving it couldn’t even play the full ding sound. I’d say hundreds per minute easily. Had to log in on my phone and disable a time based piston.
BTW, in case someone’s going to look into this problem, for me, it started at 1:00am local time (MDT). That’s when I got flooded with a massive number of text messages because of the time problem.
Same thing issues as previous years. I have to pause and un-pause each piston that uses time and once I do that, everything goes back to normal. The only issue is that I have a lot of pistons that use time, so it takes some time. I wish there was a way to “fix” this part.
Not complaining, as webCoRE has been great for me…this has been the main sticking point.
All of my time based pistons with a run every {under 60 minutes} were executing immediately and repeating execution right after they completed . The Next Scheduled Run time was showing a random time before the current time, hence the run again and semaphore errors.
I paused all of the time event pistons. I came back after two hours of pausing to edit, save and re-inspect. They returned to operating normally.
Seems like annual DST weirdness…
Sure, but only if there is a quick way to pause all and un-pause all. Manually doing all would be a problem.
