Re accessing Pistons

#1

Hi all,

I recently tried to update webcore but am running into issues.

I first did it manually and didnt have luck, it was not allowing me to register on web so I updated via GitHub and now I dont have any of my pistons in my location.

I am at a lost as to what to do next. I had several pistons that were running well.

Can anyone help or offer advice on how to get my webcore back to what it was?

If I completely uninstall Webcore and then reinstall will my pistons come back?

Thanks so much.

Do you have Echo Speaks by chance ?

#3

I do not

#4

Can you post a screenshot of the 4 Smartapps in IDE? Just want to see if all are in black text and show as published, etc

#5

Thank you @jkp

#6

Try removing that duplicate webcore piston which is color green

I guess I should say tomake sure you have backups of your pistons before deleting anything

I wish I could see my pistons! I cant get back to my old dashboard. Thats the issue I am having @jkp.

I tried to delete it via the Location-Installed smatapps method but its still sticking around on my smart app list. I get the error

“This SmartApp can’t be deleted at this time because it is installed by one or more users”

when I try to delete it from the smart app list.

Is there a way just to log back into my previous version of webcore?

Any error messages?

My bad, I meant any error messages when you are logging in to the dashboard and not seeing your pistons? Screenshot of what you are seeing?

#12

Hi @jkp - So my pistonn page is all blank. However when I go to “Back Up Pistons” I see all them listed. When I hit back up, I get an error. But I guess is expected as they are not there.

Am I able to be sent the code for all my pistons and just reload them? That would be easy enough.

Is there someone on the WebCore administration team that could locate my old piston codes and send them to me?

Hi all, I got the help I needed here and back up and running.

Thank you @jkp

Now lets make some new pistons!
