Can i replace ST routine with a WebCore piston?
I have three routines.
Home - Switches a light on if either my Mrs or myself come home.
Goodbye - Switches everything off apart from one socket
Night - Switches everything off apart from one socket
Now Home and Goodbye work on my ST presence sensor. Night we manually invoke from the ST app. So my question is can i still use the routines and execute them from there?
Yes, you can replace ST routines with pistons… Here’s a copy of my piston that does just that. Been running it for months and it’s pretty reliable.
This piston calls other pistons to do things like turn off all the lights, etc… but you could easily put the commands you want directly in the piston.

Thanks mate. I will take a look at this. I am sure it will get me rolling. I have finally decided to get on this webcore business as i keep hearing the drum being beat. Im sure once i get my head around it i will be able to give something back to the community. thanks for sharing.

This takes care of keeping a head-count of anyone home.
