Smartthings Routines/Scenes not showing up in Piston Design IDE, and don't seem to be executing via Webcore either

#1

1) Give a description of the problem
When I create a new piston and with an action to execute a Routine, the Value field is an empty text box. It used to show a dropdown of all my Routines. May have something to do with the downtime that happened last night? Also, none of the Routines that should execute as part of existing pistons seem to be executing. In existing pistons, in the place of the name of the routine, I see a hex string like “:0249587123a13476b23:”

2) What is the expected behaviour?
See a dropdown of Routines in the create Piston flow, and pistons show back up in my existing pistons.

3) What is happening/not happening?
See above

Routines no longer exist. Scenes are not supported for legacy apps like webCoRE though you can execute them using a web request if ypu wish.

Um - is this a new change since yesterday? Everything was working yesterday morning.

And if yes, is there any way to execute something like Scenes via Webcore now? Basically any way to execute a collection of actions both via the app and via Webcore without having to replicate the same thing in two different ways?

#4

Quite possibly. ST set a deadline to migrate to the new app that was reached months ago, but kept Routines running for those that ignored it. They recently announced that enough was enough and the old stuff was being turned off. Sounds like some of it has been.

ST is always late in shutting old services down. The services they shut down in August and September were not shut down until two weeks after their scheduled shutdown date.
