1) Give a description of the problem
When creating a piston that involves sending an SMS or Email it doesn’t seem to send them or I don’t receive them, is their any setup that I need to do to get these to work??

If you are in a region outside the US, then ST stopped SMS to those users. There are work-arounds. If you are in the US, you need to opt in to continue receiving SMS messages.

As far as your other question…
Emails work in every country, but there are quite a few domains that SmartThings have blocked from ever receiving emails…
Also, even if you have an acceptable domain, there is a hard limit to the number of emails that can be sent in a day. Any emails sent beyond that number will be lost forever.
