Sms notifications

So i’ve had a piston for a while and suddenly it isn’t sending sms notifications anymore.
I added a new one to send “test” and it is sending that one but not the other one…
It’s not sending “Goodbye Routine executed” and “I’m back routine executed”.
I don’t really understand whats happening.

Is there a chance that you set up the modes to change in response to presence devices directly in SmartThings? I could imagine a race condition here where ST is also setting the mode, happens to get to it before webCoRE is triggered, and then the piston doesn’t do anything since the mode is already correct.

Well the lights turn on and off, so i’m sure it’s being triggered. Today it did send the sms notification, not sure what is going on…

On a slightly separate note - are the SMS Notification’s free? i.e. I’m not suddenly going to get stung from my mobile provider for receiving them.

You have me curious whether my own SMS notifications have been acting up. I’m going to double up on SMS and push for today to see if there is some occasional deliverability issue with SMS.

If your provider charges for text messages received you will be charged accordingly for any SMS that you receive from webCoRE. They are free in the sense that there is no additional charge (i.e. “premium SMS”).

Yea lately i’ve been having random issues. It just doesn’t send some and i’m not sure why.

So far today my SMS messages have been delayed by a few minutes but I haven’t missed any. SMS messages are sent by SmartThings from the number 844647 (“THINGS”) so if there were a problem sending it seems that it would not be isolated to webCoRE.
